The High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk, Philae Temple:

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel, to start Half Day Excursion to visit the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 protecting Egypt from annual floods from the Nile. Proceed to visit the Unfinished Obelisk which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. Most probably this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th dynasty and the royal wife of king Tuthmosis II. This queen was the owner of Al Deir El-Bahari temple in the eastern bank of Luxor. Also there is an opinion said that it belongs to Queen Nefertiti. Then onto the majestic Philae Temple which was built on the honor of goddess Isis the chief deity of the island. Than return back to the hotel.

The Nubian Village and the Botanical Garden

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel, to start Half Day Excursion to visit The Nubian Village. Navigate to the west of Aswan and enjoy the rhythm of its people in a typical Nubian village. Nubians are the ancient tribes who inhabited this part of Aswan. These people who are of a simple taste and innocent nature stand in stark contrast to the Arab countrymen. It is almost like ancient and traditional wonders in the modern world. On return, visit The Kitchener’s Island which is a botanical garden, filled with exotic plants and trees imported from all over the world. It is a perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon in the shade. The island must be reached by boat, and is located on the other side of Elephantine Island from Aswan. The Island was given to Lord Kitchener for his campaigns in the Sudan, and he moved their and created his garden, importing plants and trees from all over the world. The monastery of St. Simeon and the tombs of the nobles:

Navigate to the west and keep camels back to the monastery of St. Simeon. One of the Coptic monasteries better preserved, built in the 7th century, located opposing the southern tip of the Elephantine Island. Firstly, it was called Anba Hatre Monastery. The principal church of the Monastery was built during the first half of the eleventh century (or possibly earlier, in the tenth century) and represents the oldest of its kind in Egypt. On return, visit The Tombs of nobles. The northern hills of the west bank are filled with the rock-hewn tombs of princes from the Old Kingdom to the Roman period. The 6th Dynasty tombs, some of which form linked family complexes, contain important biographical texts. Inside, the tombs are decorated with vivid wall paintings showing scenes of everyday life, hieroglyphic biographies and inscriptions telling of the noblemen's journeys into Africa. Kom-Ombo Temple

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel to start Half Day Excursion to visit Kom-Ombo which is located about 45 km north of Aswan. The Temple known as Kom - Ombo is actually two temples consisting of a Temple to Sobek and a Temple of Haroeris. The Temple of Kalabsha

Abu Simbel Temple (By Car OR By Flight):

They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramses II. The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramses II, Nefertari, Hathor. Sound & Light Show at Philae Temple

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel to attend the Sound and Light spectacular Show of Philae Temple. Because of the location of the Temple on an island, we have to take a boat to get to the site. Since early century, the site of Philae was flooded for six months each year. An incredible restoration program was undertaken in the 1960s, and the Temple was moved stone by stone to a higher elevation. Our show is an extraordinary voice and light by walking through the site's temples and gardens, with full narration explaining the legend of Isis, to whom the temple is dedicated.
